The role is firstly responsible for the planning of the Engineers’ routes and schedules. The role is secondly responsible to for the submission of quotes.PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification
- Exposure within a client service environment.
- 2-3 years’ in a planning role within a service environment.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage own team effectively
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good knowledge of operational geographical area.
- Intermediate proficient in Microsoft Excel
The main tasks and responsibilities associated with the position are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and responsibilities and any other tasks and/or responsibilities that could be reasonably expected for the position may be required.Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Draft schedules and routes for Engineers.
- Draft schedules and routes for Engineers to maximize time and income.
- Drive income-based planning.
- Plan routes efficiently to reduce km/call.
- Low km/call rate.
- Installations and upgrades done as per commitment to the client.
- Close off jobs daily.
- Process jobs effectively and efficiently.
- Close job cards daily.
- Check packs for Engineers weekly.
- Update job and progress notes on a regular basis.
- Jobs closed daily.
- Updated job notes on the system.
- Provide administrative support to the Engineers for the vehicles.
- Conduct weekly car inspections.
- Responsible for all vehicles i.e. booking of services, license disks etc.
- All documents submitted to Fleet Administrator.
- Quote and invoice on jobs.
- Invoice clients on all jobs.
- Invoice technical travel for Engineers where necessary.
- Quote on Installations and events.
- Quote and invoices submitted timeously.
- Working conditions: Mostly office based limited travelling may be required.
