- Check that the new stock that arrived in the Parts Store is complete as per the purchase order and free from any damage.
- Receive stock in Autoline against open purchase order – both from local and foreign suppliers.
- Verify that parts numbers are valid, and bin in the correct location in the Parts Store.
- Daily picking of parts as per the job card. Verify that the picked parts are for the correct job and for the correct unit prior to handover to technicians.
- Generate picking slips and pick parts according to WIP, in case of Parts Counter Sales.
- Preparation of Parts Stock orders to be delivered to various Cross Border Customers, including packing and wrapping of the pallet.
- Warehouse inventory counts to be performed-including perpetual and annual.
- Continuously maintain the parts inventory by ensuring all bins are properly marked and neatly packed
- Any parts returned to the bin immediately after all procedures have been followed.
- General housekeeping of the parts store should be done daily, ensuring that the store is clean and tidy.
- Constantly monitor stock level and inform the parts manager of items to be re-ordered
- Will be required to deliver parts to the customer as and when the need arises.
- Other ad-hoc duties, for example, filing of picking slips and purchase orders.
- Assists with ISO/Health and safety.

- Matric.
- 3 years Post-Matric qualification.
- 2 years of working experience.
- Must be fully computer literate (MS WORDS
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.
- A valid forklift licence will be beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to handle details-oriented work to ensure proper items and quantities are picked to arrive at customers in good condition.
- General fluency in English required, verbal and written.
- Agility to stand and walk for extended periods of time as a primary job responsibility.
- Capacity to lift and carry heavy items intermittently during a typical work shift.
- Observance of established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties.
- Must be accurate in their work.
- Must be technically minded and willing to learn.
- Up to R16 500 per month.
