Job Summary Pitsana Mills is seeking a dynamic individual with sober habits to fill the role of Dispatch Supervisor. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: The Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management of the dispatch and receiving process, including but not limited to: •Monitoring truck drivers using tracking systems and ensuring timely communication for updates and issues. •Fleet management, planning, and overseeing the loading of trucks for scheduled deliveries. •Ensuring quality control for all outgoing and incoming freight. •Scheduling delivery routes and coordinating with receiving points for smooth operations. •Monitoring and controlling pricing, documentation, and paperwork related to freight. •Managing inventory control, performing regular stock takes, and ensuring daily inventory management practices. •Receiving and inspecting all incoming goods to ensure quality and compliance. •Troubleshooting and following up on deliveries and addressing any discrepancies or delays in operations. •Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of vehicles, staff, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Minimum Requirements: •Fully bilingual, Grade 12, Drivers License •Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word, email communication)
