Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team and help streamline our manufacturing operations. The Production Planner will be responsible for developing and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, optimal resource utilization, and efficient workflow. This role plays a key part in coordinating between departments, maintaining inventory levels, and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the production process.Key Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer ordersCoordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure on-time availability of materials and resourcesMonitor production performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks or delaysMaintain accurate records of production planning, inventory levels, and work ordersAnalyze data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing practicesCollaborate with quality assurance to ensure production meets quality standardsParticipate in planning meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholdersRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain managementStrong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detailProficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or production environmentKnowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologiesAPICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plusContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
