If youre an expert in PLC programming, diagnostics, and industrial machinery, this is your next great opportunity.As our Automation Technician, youll be the go-to expert for designing, programming, repairing, and maintaining automated systems. Your mission is to keep production running like clockwork safe, smooth, and efficient.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and maintain automated machinery and PLC systems (Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley)
  • Diagnose and resolve malfunctions with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic components
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and creatively, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Interpret complex technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints
  • Monitor performance and implement preventative maintenance plans
  • Ensure systems remain up-to-date, safe, and compliant with industry regulations
  • Train operators and staff on best practices in system operation and maintenance
  • Develop and document repair strategies and system improvements
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams on issues, fixes, and recommendations
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience as an Automation Technician or in a similar industrial setting
  • Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical certifications
  • Strong Mechanical & Electrical skills
  • Strong expertise in PLC programming and fault finding (especially Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley)
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, electrical diagrams, and mechanical schematics
  • Familiarity with database management and automation-related mathematics (algebra, calculus, stats, etc.)
