Metals Manager - Mining

• Manage and optimize all processes related to the production and processing of metals
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Manage and allocate resources to meet production targets and customer demands
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, and logistics departments
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Train and develop staff to ensure adherence to procedures and performance targets

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
• 8 years experience in a Metallurgical environment within the mining industry.
• 2 years experience in a Managerial role
• Experience in pyro-metallurgical and precious metals processes.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP and development of metal accounting processes
• Experience in implementing process improvements and operational strategies
