Jacobsdal Area – Northern Cape: A dairy farming enterprise is seeking a hands-on Assistant Farm Manager to support their large-scale operation.The farm milks approximately 1,400 cows and runs a herd of 2,200 head of cattle, managed as a TMR herd with homegrown fodder.This position calls for a practical, hardworking individual with strong leadership skills who can assist in the daily management of livestock, staff, and farm operations, while maintaining high production standards.
.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
Proven track record
Great Stockmanship
Computer literate
Maintenance orientated
Ability to work well in a team
Strong leadership skills
Valid driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Supporting the Farm Manager in the day-to-day operations
Ensuring optimal animal health, efficient milk production, feed management and staff supervision.
