- Build, calibrate, and optimise short-term insurance pricing models to drive competitive and profitable outcomes.
- Apply advanced actuarial methods to support pricing decisions and portfolio strategy.
- Conduct rate reviews and provide actionable insights for product development initiatives.
- Support reserving, reinsurance, and capital modelling for non-life insurance portfolios.
- Assist with IFRS 17 implementation and refine reserving strategies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse underwriting and claims performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present pricing recommendations and analytical findings to senior stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across underwriting, product, risk, and finance teams to inform business decisions.
- Minimum 2 years actuarial experience in short-term (non-life) insurance.
- Solid experience in short-term insurance pricing and modelling.
- Completion of 3–4 actuarial exams.
- Strong knowledge of GLMs, rate-making, and actuarial modelling principles.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or actuarial software (e.g., Emblem and ResQ).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business decisions.
