  • Strategic Leadership: Guide and mentor remuneration, benefits, and payroll teams, driving a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Compensation Management: Design and oversee salary structures, incentive programs, and annual reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Benefits Oversight: Manage employee benefits programs, optimise utilisation, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Data Analytics: Use advanced data analysis to conduct pay equity studies, benchmark against the market, and strengthen workforce decision-making.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, SARS requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with leadership and HR to provide guidance on remuneration strategy and communicate policies effectively across the business.
  • Financial Planning: Lead budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and forecasting for compensation and benefits programs.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours
  • CA(SA)
Experience:
  • 10 years’ experience within a financial environment.
  • At least 5 years in management or a data-centric role.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align remuneration frameworks to organisational goals.
  • Strong data analytics and interpretation skills to inform evidence-based decisions.
  • Proven leadership and team development capability.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, labour laws, and governance.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
