DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:This is not a sit behind a desk kind of position. The Management Accountant will be operationally involved across the Business.Positions are available across the Companys various regions South Africa. Successful candidates can therefore be based in or around any of the following areas:Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, KZN, Eastern and Western Cape, and Port Elizabeth, East London, George, Witbank, Nelspruit, Rustenburg and Polokwane.This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on involved in the Businesss finance operations.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*BCom Degree in Management Accounting, Financial Management, Accounting or equivalent
*CIMA or studying towards is essential
*5 Years experience as a Management Accountant
*Experience in one or all of the following industries: manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, banking, cash management.
*Experience with Syspro ERP system advantageous
*Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
*Experience in compiling and conducting presentations to Senior Managers
*Must be willing to travel regionally at least once per month.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Management Accountant will act as a Finance Business Partner for their respective region. You will be responsible for the financial operations management for the region, managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring and analyzing financial performance, modelling of the financial impact within the Operational and Finance Business Unit, and providing financial insights and recommendations, in order to reach regional organizational goals and objectives.Do you see yourself as the successful Management Accountant positions available across South Africa at this leading Company?
