We have the following position available;Panelbeater – Ennerdale (Johannesburg)Our client seeks the skills of an experienced Qualified Panel Beater with extensive panel beating and assessing damaged vehicles, estimating the cost of repairs, and repairing vehicles to their original condition experience.Candidates who meet the requirements outlined below are invited to submit their cv for consideration.
  • Strip and compare quotation to damage.
  • Advise Estimator of discrepancies and make the necessary changes to the job card.
  • Applying discretionary expertise to repair versus replace in conjunction with estimator.
  • Signing for all new parts from store.
  • Putting parts for painting in paint shop and controlling the time-line.
  • Fitting all parts to the required level of expertise to the vehicle understanding that quality control is built into the repair process.
  • Discussing delays with the GM and Estimator/workshop controller.
  • Comply to parts processes to only order parts as per job cards.
  • Follow up on parts shortages and discrepancies not on job card.
  • Identify and accurately track all back-order parts keeping information relevant.
  • Attend departmental meeting to ensure effective production and communication.
