We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager with expertise in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and battery technologies (VRLA & Lithium-Ion) to lead our operational functions.This role combines technical leadership, strategic decision-making, and people management to drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Join us and help shape the future of uninterruptible power solutions!Skills and ExperienceWhat you’ll do:Essential functions:

Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
Support worker communication with the management team.
Be able to accept criticism and build a forward strategy from it.
Establishing governance processes to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately, and the organisation’s resources are used responsibly.
Where necessary, lead and/or support the implementation of business compliance and risk programs.
Maintain relationships of trust and respect with key internal and external stakeholders.
Customer service needs to be a primary focus, for both existing customer and future prospects.
Lead and manage teams, ensuring that people related issues are dealt with in the appropriate manner, ensuring that a performance culture is driven throughout the business.
Drive transformation in the business, with a view of inclusion, ensuring that the relevant transformation requirements of EOH are supported in all people related processes.
Deep understanding of UPS and batteries (VRLA and Lithium-Ion) technologies, including online, offline, and line-interactive systems.
Familiarity with various brands and models, including configuration and troubleshooting to be the technical support and guidance for the technicians when troubleshooting.
Onsite UPS sales support when salespeople are selling solutions, by addressing customer technical questions and specifications for sizing of the solution, both UPS and battery requirements, according to load, future expansion, and conversion of solution from VRLA to Lithium.
Must be available as and when the business requires, to ensure customer satisfaction and minimal disruption to their business, at all times.

Experience required:

Function related experience: 5+ years
Leading teams: 2-5 years
Project experience: 2-5 years
Proven experience in the electrical power utility and related industry segment
Experience in dealing with multinational suppliers and OEMs will be advantageous

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management field or related field
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Certifications related to UPS systems (eg. Certified UPS Technician, electrical safety certifications)
