As Risk Specialist you will join our Johannesburg office team to provide services that help our clients devise strategies to deliver successful business solutions prior to sanction, achieve confidence around project delivery, ensure projects are effectively managed & controlled and facilitate the capture and transfer of knowledge. Job DescriptionCandidate will have the following main objective of the Job;Analyse risk data to support understanding the potential impacts of risks and proactive flagging of impacts across the portfolioIdentify trends that may present risk to projects and/or the portfolioImprove processes, tools and systems used to gather risk dataMonitor risks to proactively identify areas that may alter risk levels for known decisionsFacilitate risk workshops and RCAs to refine internal project estimatesProvide support to PMsDevelop risk dashboards to raise the visibility of portfolio risk QualificationsCandidate will have the following education & experience;Additional education or certification in project management or risk management is advantageous (e.g., CAPM/Prince 2, PMP, RMP)5 years’ proven work experience as a risk analyst in mining or other complex operating environmentsProficient with Microsoft product suite (incl.
