Salary: R8000 CTC per monthMinimum requirements:
- LLB Degree
- Strong interest in employment law and commercial law (prior coursework or internships in these areas advantageous)
- Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Conduct legal research and provide case law analysis in employment and commercial law matters
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, disciplinary codes, and commercial agreements such as service agreements, shareholder agreements, and sale of business agreements
- Assist in dispute resolution, including preparing documentation for CCMA, Labour Court, and contractual disputes
- Engage in client consultations, attend court proceedings, and liaise with counsel where necessary
- Draft legal opinions, pleadings, and correspondence for litigation and advisory work
- Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments in employment and commercial law
- Support attorneys in contract negotiations and due diligence processes
