- Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Previous internal sales experience in valves, instrumentation, or the petrochemical industry
- Technical understanding of pneumatic and electrical systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with tenders, quotes, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and independently
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Presentable and professional demeanour
- Managing incoming telephonic enquiries and processing sales
- Preparing and following up on quotes and tenders
- Coordinating with branches and arranging client meetings for Sales Engineers
- Managing stock control and conversions
- Assisting with daily reports, invoices, and workshop admin
- Supporting external sales with technical coordination and order expediting
- Handling minor instrument/valve repairs in the workshop
