- Process all stock requests from Distribution warehouses. • Process goods received notes, purchase orders and delivery notes in conjunction with Logistics Service Co-ordinators. • Process and plan all customer orders received • To appreciate the importance of customer satisfaction and responding to this accordingly. • Process sundry invoicing for non-stock items for dispatch. • Regular communication to all stakeholders on in-house product availability. • Monthly coordination of in-house stock movements with Commercial Manager • Supervision on the loading of vehicles for Distribution warehouses and selected customers • Supervision of the inspection and sign off all export orders • Supervision to ensure container packaging guidelines are adhered to • Maintain a system for proper control of goods transferred. • Ensure completion of open purchase orders and stock transfers • Receive and administrate products from production warehouses on site • Planning and arranging transportation between distribution warehouses and for selected customers • Ensure compliance with the Road Transport Act and legislation pertaining to the transport of dangerous chemicals. • Manage transfer of products received for quarantine • Monitor the return of documentation once deliveries are complete including the recording of differences between quantities declared as being delivered and delivery notes. • Ensure proper treatment with regard to return of damaged goods. • Co-ordination of stocktakes for wholesale and export warehouses. • Responsible for balancing physical stock with stock stated on Syspro. • Manage regular cycle counts including the reconciliation thereof. • Strive to minimise stock levels, stock damages and shrinkage. • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance thereof. • Ensure good warehouse practise. • Responsible for the Lilianton warehouse security. • Attendance of production meetings on site • Perform regular Safety toolbox talks • Required to conform to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy. • To participate and assist to maintain SHEQ Management Systems certifications/standards. • Supervision of warehouse staff. • To manage overtime including recording and approval thereof.
- Minimum education Grade 12 with a diploma relating to Warehouse Supervision. • Must possess good customer relationship skills. • Must have excellent communication (verbal and written), industrial relations and organisational skills. • Analytical skills (basic budgeting and cost control). • Must have a sound knowledge of the international market. • Must possess good report writing skills. • Must be able to gauge the level of understanding of the client in respect of new technology. • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in distribution, production or warehousing as a Warehouse Supervisor. • Computer knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) • Must possess a working knowledge of Syspro.
