Job Title: Manager - Learning & Development
Location: Durban, South Africa (On-site)
Working Hours: Primarily South African business hours, with flexibility to work US hours when required.About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead, design, and deliver our L&D programmes. This role will oversee the full training lifecycle-from needs analysis and content creation to facilitation and evaluation-ensuring our employees are equipped with the skills to excel. The successful candidate will work on-site in Durban and play a strategic role in shaping our organisational learning culture.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Learning & Development function, aligning training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement leadership development programmes.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and instructional design processes.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions for various levels of the organisation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify skills gaps and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Manage the evaluation of training programmes to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the L&D team, fostering innovation and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in Leadership Development.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and Instructional Design.
  • Strong skills in Training Facilitation and Instructional Delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management or Head of Department role within L&D.
  • Ability to work on-site in Durban.
