- Develop and maintain long-term and medium-term mine plans.
- Conduct mine design, pit optimisation, and scheduling.
- Review geological and resource models for accuracy and practicality.
- Mentor junior planners and review short-term mine plans.
- Advise management on fleet, equipment, and consumables planning.
- Present mine plans and schedules to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 10 years' experience in mining, with 5+ years in open-pit/opencast long-term planning.
- Kimberlite experience advantageous.
- Proficiency in Datamine, Whittle, Surpac, Maptek, AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
- Registered with ECSA or SAIMM (advantageous).
