We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with a strong background in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch. This is an exciting opportunity to join a development-focused team and lead the implementation of automation testing in an environment where it has not yet been established.
Youâ€™ll be working in a Java/JavaScript-based AWS environment, alongside developers, with some manual testing currently in place. The ideal candidate will bring a broad understanding of testing tools and frameworks and be able to recommend and implement the most suitable solutions for our setup.What youâ€™ll do:

Responsibilities requirements

Senior (7+ years experience)
Proven experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch
Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, Python
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as: Appium, Playwright, Selenium, IntelliJ, Robot Framework, TestNG
Comfortable working in a Cloud environment (AWS)
Experience with test management tools: Quality Center (QC), ALM, Azure DevOps, TFS, X-Ray
Ability to perform back-end testing using SQL on Oracle and SQL Server
Capable of conducting functional testing when required
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured
Exposure to mobile testing (preferably with Appium)
Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools: Jira, Jenkins, Git
Comfortable working in an Agile environment, participating in relevant ceremonies

Qualifications:

Matric
ISTQB
Relevant IT/ Testing Qualification
