We are looking for a motivated and persuasive Telemarketing Agent to contact potential customers by phone to promote products, services, and campaigns. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to build customer interest and close sales effectively over the phone.Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to prospective or existing customers using a prepared scriptPromote products or services and explain their features and benefitsAnswer questions about the products or the companyRecord customer information and responses accurately in the databaseFollow up on leads and conduct surveys or market research when requiredMaintain a high level of product knowledge to confidently handle objectionsAchieve daily, weekly, or monthly sales and call targetsHandle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional mannerKeep records of calls and sales and update customer details in the CRM systemComply with call center guidelines, sales scripts, and company policiesRequirements:Education:Grade 12 (Matric) is requiredSales or customer service training is an advantageExperience:6 months to 1 year of experience in telemarketing, telesales, or a call center environment (preferred)Entry-level candidates with strong communication skills may also be consideredSkills & Competencies:Excellent verbal communication and listening skillsConfident and persuasive telephone mannerGoal-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed targetsBasic computer literacy and data entry skillsGood organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to handle rejection and remain positiveOther Requirements:Fluent in English (and other local languages is a plus)Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours if requiredR 7500 basic plus commission.The post appeared first on .
