
Technical Sales Executive – Explosive Environments

This is a remote, field-based role across Gauteng with flexibility to travel across key hubs and industrial zones.✅ Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years’ external sales experience within electrical or instrumentation sectors
- Proven experience working with explosion-protected products or within industries governed by hazardous area regulations
- Must be familiar with EPCs, OEMs, end-users, and project environments
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a hunter mindset
- Experience selling into sectors such as mining, oil & gas, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, or heavy industrial
- Solid understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx, Ex d, Ex e, etc.) is highly advantageous
- Exposure to electrical control boxes, Ex-rated enclosures, junction boxes, lighting, plugs & sockets, and related gear
- CRM usage and ability to manage pipelines and hit sales targets
- Skilled in building long-term relationships with technical buyers, engineers, and procurement teams
- Self-motivated, organised, and committed to long-haul customer growth
- Advantageous: N3 or trade background in Electronics, Instrumentation, Millwrighting, or Electrical fields
