- Ensure the safety of self and team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of maintenance activities
- Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and company standards
- Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and security policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-work assessments and participate in safety meetings
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and perform basic construction work
- Inspect and ensure the safety of the shaft barrel and the hanging side and footwall within each section
- Grade 12
- Onsetter Certificate
- Blasting Certificate for Hard Rock Mining
- 5 years' experience in a shaft and construction environment
- Experience in the use of explosives
- Advanced knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act
- Medically Fit
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
