An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Sales Business Development Specialist to join a dynamic Data Center Sales team. We're seeking a driven and results-oriented professional with a strong mix of consultative sales, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational abilities, a passion for technology, and a proven track record in identifying and converting sales opportunities.Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage with potential customers
Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
Monitor industry trends to uncover new sales opportunities
Meet and exceed sales targets
Generate leads, including cold calling
Research market and competitive landscape
Promote and sell ICT products and services
Stay updated on product offerings, including Microsoft and Veeam
Provide updates to customers on new products and solutions

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
Experience in ICT sales (preferably in the data center or infrastructure space) - 2 years minimum
Strong hunter mindset and sales-driven approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer engagement abilities
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Own reliable transport is essential
A solid understanding of the IT industry and current technology trends
