Hospitality Hire is partnering with a respected recruitment agency in the search for a Travel Advisor to join a luxury hospitality group in Cape Town. This role is dedicated to creating extraordinary guest journeys by guiding clients through every step of the booking process - from initial inspiration and research to post-stay follow-up.The Role The Travel Advisor will be responsible for managing reservations across a diverse luxury portfolio, ensuring seamless communication with both guests and internal teams. Youll act as a trusted partner to guests, enhancing loyalty and driving sales conversions while ensuring the highest service standards.Key Responsibilities
- Confidently manage enquiries across the full portfolio of destinations and experiences
- Handle all guest and customer queries with accuracy, care, and efficiency
- Meet performance targets including response times, queue management, and case handling in Salesforce Omnichannel
- Maximise every booking opportunity by achieving and exceeding conversion goals
- Recommend additional perks and personalised enhancements for loyal guests
- Ensure data accuracy by capturing guest preferences and completing detailed profiles
- Follow up proactively on all bookings and enquiries until resolution is achieved
- Minimum 2 years experience in Reservations, Front Office, or a customer service role in hospitality/travel
- Strong telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Computer proficiency, including email communication and reservation systems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
