Milnerton - Koeberg RoadChartered Accounting (SA) and Tax Practitioner firm, based in Milnerton, Cape Town requires a experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with previous experience in a Tax Practitioner Firm.Unsupervised responsibilities subject to review include but are not limited to the following:

Pastel accounting processing.
SARS e-filing and Accfin tax package.
Draft Worx compilation of annual financial statements. Similar to Caseware.
Communication with clients.
Management of SARS e-filing profiles and preparation of income tax and other tax returns.
Provisional tax.
General instructions working on SARS e-filing profile for clients on queries and other SARS issues including administration issues.
Monthly PAYE, VAT, and other statutory returns.
Analysing data, providing insight, scenario analysis, reporting, budget and forecasting.

Requirements:

Attention to detail.
Exposure to Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, Pastel and SARS e-filing for Public Benefit Organisations
Communication skills and interactions with clients and staff in a professional manner.
Degree or diploma in accounting/tax with relevant work experience advantageous but not essential.
