Are you an Engineer seeking an exhilarating career shift into the dynamic world of Insurance? My client is on the lookout for a Loss Adjuster who brings not only a strong engineering background but also enthusiasm for diving into the insurance sector. Your hands-on experience at engineering sites is a necessity for this role, where you'll leverage your technical expertise to assess and mitigate losses effectively. You must be willing to attend training for 3-6 months in Johannesburg.Skills and Experience:

Engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical).
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the engineering field.
On site experience is a MUST.
The ability to understand complex circumstances and then be able to report them concisely.
Sound computer, written, and numerical skills.
Insurance loss adjusting experience will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Willing to training for 3-6 months at the Johannesburg branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional levels of service to our clients and their customers.
Proactively manage a file load, meet individual performance targets and deliver a high standard of work.
Investigate and report on the facts of incidents giving rise to insurance claims.
Gathering and preserving evidence.
Establish the cause of loss.
Quantifying the nature and extent of damage.
Determining policy liability and providing recommendations to clients.
Contributing to the further growth and success of the branch.
