- Manage a portfolio of school accounts
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs and enquiries
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks (this will include attending workshops, expos, school events, golf days etc)
- Resolve conflict and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions weekly
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel and Outlook in particular)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- An empathetic nature
- An understanding of the workings of a school
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude, self-confidence and resilience
- Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
- A reliable vehicle, allowing you to visit schools in and around Pietermaritzburg
