Specialist - Microsoft Security & Firewalls (Sophos)

• Implement and manage Microsoft security solutions, including but not limited to Microsoft Defender ATP, Azure Security Centre, and Windows Defender Firewall.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Sophos Firewall Management:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Sophos firewalls to protect the organization''s network.
• Monitor firewall logs, analyse security incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Network Security:

• Work collaboratively with network and system administrators to ensure the overall security of the organization''s network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain firewall rules and policies to safeguard against emerging threats.
• Incident Response:

• Develop and execute incident response plans in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
• Investigate and analyse security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Documentation and Training:

• Document security configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Provide training and awareness programs to staff on security best practices.

• Minimum of 8 of experience in a similar role with a focus on Microsoft security and Sophos firewalls.
• Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security, or Sophos certifications are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft security technologies and Sophos firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, TCP/IP, and network security principles.
