- You will be required to partner with the managing director – agriculture and divisional Exco in the development and rollout of the company’s vision and strategy and by improving and safeguarding financial results;
- You will be required to develop, refine and implement insights, recommendations, processes, reports and tools;
- You will be required to provide leadership and management to the financial department across all operational geographies;
- You will be required to provide financial strategy recommendations to the executive team;
- You will be required to identify and address potential financial risks for the company;
- You will be required to oversee all financial decisions, such as budgeting, auditing and taxation;
- You will be required to implement strategies and systems to improve financial performance;
- You will be required to support financial department in developing short- and long-term financial goals;
- You will be required to review financial reports and determine methods to reduce costs;
- You will be required to serve as a key point of contact for financial department and auditors;
- You will be required to assist in the formation of the divisional strategy as well as the implementation;
- You will be required to have good working knowledge of IFRS, the JSE rules and listings and King IV;
- You will be required to drive system and process improvement projects;
- You will be responsible for regulatory and compliance management;
- You will be responsible for stakeholder interaction:
- Company's executive committee;
- Divisional executive committee;
- Finance leadership team;
- Various committees across the division / group;
- Project teams.

- You are a CA(SA);
- You have a minimum of 12 – 15 years current, relevant post qualification experience of which 3 - 5 years in an executive financial role;
- You have previous experience in strategic management and leadership operating across multiple geographies - that would be a distinct advantage;
- You have previous experience in the chemical, agriculture, manufacturing and / or mining industry - that would be a distinct advantage but not essential- listed experience is important.
