- Telephones to be answered immediately in a friendly and professional manner.
- Clients to be received and helped in a friendly and professional manner.
- Occasionally other divisional tasks will be requested of the receptionist which must be performed as soon as possible but must not interfere with the primary responsibility of reception and telephone duties.
- Clients must be offered refreshments immediately while waiting for the appropriate staff to attend to them.
- Handling and distribution of internal mail.
- Distribution and co-ordination of all driver requests might be requested from you on ad hock basis
- Housekeeping of reception area.
- Capturing of Timesheets as and when required
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
- DHL.
- General office tasks.
- Boardroom bookings.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
- Abide by SGS Rules of Life and the SGS Code of Integrity
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Computer Literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a receptionist or in office administration
- Ability to multi-task and handle several issues simultaneously
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Telephone Etiquette skills is an advantage.
