Mechanic Parts Buyer - Construction Industry

• Sourcing and getting quotations for parts
• Ordering and buying of parts after quotations have been approved
• Updating and keeping control of ground engaging tools, filters v/belts and other parts on a

• Delivering and collecting of vehicles to and from service
• Collecting of parts that cannot be delivered.
• Keeping record of plant and small plant available at head office on a database.

• Relevant certification or diploma in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a parts buyer, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction machinery and equipment parts
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and manuals
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
