- Responsible for answering the telephones using the appropriate etiquette, in accordance to LQA standards.
- Take the guest order, always trying to use suggestive/ upselling techniques.
- Provide an expected delivery time for the guest’s order.
- Ensure guests special requests are communicated to the Kitchen.
- Monitor guest orders to ensure all orders are delivered on time.
- Accurately posts payments to the POS system.
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- 1- 2 years relevant experience in a similar position within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Good communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of food menu and wine list
