Registrations Membership of the South African Institute of Draughting Software: AutoCAD, other Autodesk packages. Prepare drawings in accordance with instructions received from the design team and conforming to the companys Drawing Office Standards. Maintain accurate drawing revision control. Take responsibility for the correctness of work done. Undergo training in order to maintain existing skills or to develop new skills. Attend and participate in project meetings as required. Keep team members and project managers informed of workload and deadlines to assist with work schedule. Assist, teach and mentor less experienced draughtspersons. Skills (Where applicable, "basic" applies to a Drawing Office Assistant, "Good" applies to a Draughtsperson and "Excellent" applies to a Senior Draughtsperson) Basic / good / excellent understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications. Computer literacy: basic / good excellent ability in some or all of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Revit, Inventor, MS Office. Basic / good / excellent three-dimensional visualisation ability.
