Our client is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also be involved in negotiating and drafting legal agreements, managing legal disputes, and providing strategic legal support to the company.Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual who has excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
LLB degree from an accredited law school
Qualified and admitted attorney.
Proven track record of success in providing strategic legal counsel in a corporate setting

Preferred years of professional experiences:

At least 3 years in Project Development, Project Construction and/or Project Finance in the Renewable Energy Sector or Infrastructure Sector.
