Mechanical And Fire Engineer

• Lead the management of mechanical building services across all project phases, encompassing conceptualization, design, implementation, and project closure.
• Exercise autonomy in the execution of projects, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of local codes and regulations (SANS Codes) as well as Rational Design principles.
• Apply expertise in Fire Engineering to optimize project outcomes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop detailed specifications and bills of quantities for mechanical components.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports to convey project progress and key findings.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BSc).
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Building Services Industry.
• Preferably eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with ESCA or in the process of obtaining registration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a fundamental requirement, with familiarity with Revit being advantageous.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
