- Supervision of the entire accounting and administration process for the various business units in accordance with Group accounting policies and procedures.
- Financial reporting pack reviews for various business units.
- Monthly group reporting and statistical submissions.
- Annual operational meeting calendars.
- Attend business operational meetings.
- Maintain and control group reporting standards.
- Compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures and compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
- Review where necessary the business units’ contracts and agreements.
- Supervision of the internal auditor.
- Management of the Group Insurance Portfolio renewal including liaising with the insurance brokers.
- Management of the Group budgetary process and review of budgets.
- Responsibility for Homeowner Association, Sectional Title Body Corporate, and Share Block levy budgets.
- Financial policies and procedures.
- A member of the IT Steering Committee.
- Supervision and finalization of financial year ends and audited financial statements.
- Liaison and management of the external auditors in compliance with the company’s requirements.
- Cashflow management of various business units.
- Liaison with external service providers.
- Assistance in the preparation of company tax computations and other tax management.
- Provide accounting, processing, and resource to various business units.
- Working closely with head office and unit-based staff members.
- Deal with ad hoc requests as and when required.
- Feasibilities and financial modelling.
- Attendance at Board meetings.
- Company Secretarial including review of meeting minutes.

- Minimum of ten (10) years previous experience in a similar position or as group financial controller
- An accounting/financial qualification together with completed Articles with an auditing company will be advantageous.
- Proven business and commercial acumen with above average financial management ability.

- Good knowledge of accounting systems a requirement: Accpac, Opera, Micros, Nebula, INFOR, Draftworks, and QSA an advantage.
- Computer literacy, which must include good working knowledge of current operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be prepared to work overtime when required, and travel to business units both in and outside South Africa as and when necessary.

- Understanding the key working intricacies of the Timeshare industry.
