MECHANICIAN/MILLWRIGHT Location: De Hoek Toll Plaza and Wilge Plaza on N3 RouteThe principal purpose of this role – To do checks, tests and maintenance on all electrical and mechanical equipment and facilities. To ensure the Company fully complies with its contractual obligations, the Mechanician/ Millwright should at all times ensure that such equipment and facilities are fully functional.* Grade 12 Certificate•Qualified Artisan: Mechanician or Millwright•At least 8 years related experience•Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License•In-depth knowledge of processes and rules together with the MIS Electronic Toll Collection System•Understanding of relevant procedures such as: o Environmental, health and safety, compliance and good housekeeping practices o Procedure manuals o Understanding of Supervisory responsibilities/functions•Fluent in English•Excellent Communication Skills (written & oral)•Interpersonal relationship skills•Self- management•Expert knowledge of electromechanical equipment•Expert knowledge of the electrical Installations•Expert knowledge of generators and UPS`s•Expert knowledge of access control systems•Expert knowledge of CCTV Systems•Planning and follow through of maintenance activities•Basic Computer Literacy Skills•Certificate of Medical FitnessBy applying for this position, you consent in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (PoPIA) to your personal information being obtained; utilised and stored by the Company through inter alia, reference checks, credit checks and trace reports.
