RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in the construction industry. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and contracts are managed effectively.In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing construction plans, estimating costs, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and architects. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.Located in Cape Town, our client offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. Analyze construction plans and specifications to accurately estimate costs.
Prepare and submit cost estimates for construction projects.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.
Manage project contracts and procurement processes.
Track project expenses and manage project budgets.
Prepare progress reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
