RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demand Planner to join our client's team in Cape Town. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for estimating future demand for clients' products or services and analyzing inventory flow to build forecasting models. Your role will be crucial in ensuring supply meets demand and optimizing operational efficiency.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to develop accurate demand forecasts
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
Conduct regular forecast maintenance and updates based on evolving market conditions
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner, such as inventory shortages or excess

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or similar role
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Relevant training and certifications in demand planning or supply chain management

Benefits

Salary: R350K/yr - R450K/yr, negotiable
