Site Quality Inspector - East RandFull job descriptionJob Number72743Job TypePermanent Job TitleSite Quality InspectorComputer SkillsISO9001:2015,Ms OfficeIndustryRoofingCityEkurhuleni (East Rand)ProvinceGautengJob DescriptionMain Purpose of The JobThe purpose of the Site Quality Inspector is to ensure that roof installations are done in accordance with the required specifications and safety standards as specified by companyDuties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all products supplied to customers are according to prescribed specifications and quality standards.Inspect material being installed to ensure that it conforms to specifications and customer requirements.Read, understand blueprints and specifications to ensure the roof installation is correctly installed.Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to the installation process in line with quality assurance.Inspect, test, and approve the installation was done correctly and safety is not compromisedProduct Standards adhered to and perform routine inspections.Investigate and prepare Non-Conformance Reports on defective products and Goods Returned NotesInvestigates Non-Conformances and implements corrective measures.Respond and resolve queries/ complaints from the CustomersInspect ProfilesPerform Tests requested to ensure quality and durability of company Products as when required by the customer or Management.Problem Solving on Quality MattersEnsure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.Liaise with Customers to ensure customer satisfaction and use feedback for continuous improvement on Quality ControlSubmit Technical reports on all site inspections for the week to the Tactical ManagerInspect concealed fix roofs for guaranteed purposesLiaise with customers dailyProvide on-site training before new project startsPerform Quality Checks in the factoryInspect Roofs requires working on heightsTravel to various sites dailyContinuous improvement on quality procedures to minimize customer complaintsProvide in-house training as and when requiredPerform wind uplift tests on the test bed in-houseProvide feedback to the Tactical ManagerAssist with adhoc items as and when necessary and required by managementEstablishing quality standards for products the company producesReading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standardsRecommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processesInspecting and test the materials and equipment produced by a companyKey Performance Areas:Quality and ISO standards complied and maintained.Customer satisfactionRoofs installations completed correctlyAdequate Training provided on-site and in-houseResearch and Development to improve Quality ProceduresEffective Inspections and Corrective MeasuresSeamless operational qualityTo apply immediately for this position click here: www.unique.co.za/candidate_registration_1.aspx?JobID=72743&referrer=UniqueInherent RequirementsQualifications & Experience RequiredMatric / Grade 12Good communication skills with both external parties and business audiencesCertification in quality control is preferred.ISO9001:2015 AccreditationWorking at Heightscompany Product knowledge AdvantageousA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.Excellent knowledge of MS Office.Good math and technical skills.Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.Valid Driver’s LicenseTechnical knowledge of company specific Manufacturing Machinery and specifications.Ability to read technical drawings.Knowledge of company productsAnalytical ThinkingCritical ThinkingProblem SolvingAdhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.Physically fit and healthy and ability to work at heights.Ability to perform under pressure.Ability to work in teamWhat QualificationMinimum QualificationDiplomaStatusAvailable
