CNC Mechanical Maintenance Technician

• Matriculation Certificate
• Millwright Trade Qualification OR Trade Fitter & Turner or Fitter with CNC machine experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with CNC machines in the manufacturing sector
• Proficiency with a variety of machines, including Okuma, Haas, Victor, and Doosan, as well as controls like Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, and Mazak
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy objects
• Possession of a forklift license is an advantage
• Flexible approach, willing to work overtime and respond to callouts when needed

• Showcase mechanical expertise and effective troubleshooting skills
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for CNC machines
• Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records, including details of failures and repair adjustments
• Embrace new machinery installations and rapidly acquire skills for emerging technologies
• Exhibit a natural curiosity and interest in new technologies, aiding in areas like cataloguing and purchasing
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and practices
• Provide clear and constructive guidance to machine operators
