- Agricultural Diploma advantageous
- Min of 2 years previous packhouse experience
- Experience with working with BRC / HACCP advantageous
- Computer literacy in MS Office (excel, outlook, word)
- Excellent communication and written skills
- People management experience
- Valid drivers license
- Productivity in the workstation
- Presentation and quality of finished product
- Discipline in the workstation
- Cleanliness of the workstation
- Variances of packaging equipment
- Administration (Up to date and accurate)
- Supervise the cleanliness of the staff (No jewelry, nail polish, watches etc)
- Supervise the staff productivity on the line
- Ensure attendance registers are up to date
- Book out necessary equipment for her team for the day
- Allocate the staff with the necessary equipment to start their shift
- Issue and record equipment given to the staff during their shift
- To keep administrative paperwork up to date
- To report discrepancies to your manager
- To report and assist in directing the flow of carrots in conjunction with the operator and your manager, to ensure the continuance of productivity
- Direct and supervise the cleaning of workstations and shut down for her team
- Ensure all the staff have signed out on the attendance register daily
- Record the correct bag allocation for each member of her team daily
- Return packing that was not used and record packing that was defective
- Hand in all administrative documentation at the end of the shift
- Upholding the discipline on the line
