Job Summary A leading South African motor engineering company offering engine remanufacturing and repairs, is looking for an experienced branch manager to run projects, manage key customers and overall branch performance. Duties include, but is not limited to: Identify and address all critical training and development needs to mobilize staff to perform their functions effectively. Plan, implement and manage projects to meet the agreed timelines while adhering to the planned cost budgets. Ensure effective and optimum utilization of all resource, inclusive of human resources. Effective management of business development function: Identify new business opportunities, monitor and assess the market environment in terms of competitors and current customers. Maintain safety standards and always comply with the company's safety instructions and requirements. Must meet with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues. Facilitate the motivation, loyalty and goal directed activities of all employees and identifying possible areas for improvement. Ensure that the work done is in accordance with the company's standards. Ensure operation and financial targets are met. The ideal candidate will have the following: N2 Trade related subjects, Recognized Trade test certificate Proficient in English & Afrikaans language. Minimum of 5 years workshop Manager experience Understand of mining machinery and Motor Engineering Good computer skills required - Autoplan and Microsoft Stay in Middelburg or relocate
