Site Manager - Luxury residential - Cape TownFull job descriptionOur client, a well established medium-sized building contractor with a successful track record in the high-end bespoke luxury home market, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of post-graduate experience and hold a construction-related qualification, with prior experience in high-end projects.Responsibilities:Take full responsibility for projects, managing all aspects of planning, progress, quality assurance, and profitability.Liaise and build relationships with clients and professional teams.Manage and develop staff, plant resourcing, and material management.Select, negotiate, and manage sub-contractors.Have strong JBCC experience and a solid working knowledge of MS Projects.Requirements:Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in construction-related fields.Hold a construction-related qualification.Prior experience in high-end projects is required.Strong JBCC exposure and a solid working knowledge of MS Projects.Solid track record with positive references.Excellent leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Report directly to the managementPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
