Electronic Design Engineer

• BEng (Electronic) or BEng (Computer) Engineering Degree.
• 3 - 5 Years of experience
• Embedded C for STM32 and other microcontrollers
• Schematic and PCB Design in Altium designer
• Being a team player while also being able to work independently on smaller projects.

• Design and develop electronic systems
• Develop embedded applications for microcontrollers / microprocessor in control systems
• Design Electronic applications – from schematic capture, PCB layout to test, planning and implementation to meet requirements, using good engineering practices
• Support and maintain existing product designs
• Develop component qualification processes for extreme environments
• Continually improve design methodology and development processes
• Define internal interfaces between parts of the electronics
• Consider system aspects that may affect the electronics, including noise and power distribution.
• Implement the design in hardware, firmware and software
• Test the hardware and implement corrections as necessary
• Generate production data packs and product support documentation
• Maintain existing products in terms of software changes, PCB updates, firmware changes and documentation
• Simulations of the design at various levels
• Assist production in delivering high-quality product
• Assist clients when required
• Assist with installations
• Derive requirements for complex electronics
• Ensure external interfaces match the specification, including voltage level and timing.
• Program complex electronics
• Test the final hardware and implement corrections as necessary
• Perform system safety analyses and identify safety verifications required
