Job SummaryA great mining company in the Kuruman, Northern Cape is seeking the expertise of an Underground Safety Officer to join their team of professionals.Responsibilities

Conduct legal inspections and report deviations
Enforce adherence to Health and Safety standards in work environment
Assist in implementation and maintenance of Health and Safety Management systems
Attend Shaft and Mine Planning meetings
Implement compliance requirements
Communicate compliance changes
Ensure operational plan is implemented

Requirements

Grade 12
Diploma in Safety Management
Blasting Certificate / Trade Test
6 - 8 years safety experience in an underground mining environment
