DOWNLOAD OUR ONE-PAGER to find out more about who we are in a nutshell.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperational Delivery:Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;Performing risk and value management and cost control;Advising on procurement strategy;Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;Developing knowledge relevant to contract conditions and their applications;Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts / agreements in current use;Manage all engineering projects (HVAC , Fire , Electrical);Engage suppliers for quotations and negotiate terms of contracts / agreements;Validating of quantities quoted;Ensure works are conducted according to the Scope of works / specification and sign off all works;Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;Valuing completed work and arranging payments;Preparation and submission of annual capital expenses plan;Monitoring of expenditure against capital expenses plan;Providing advice on contractual claims;Ensure proper handover of documentation to the relevant recipients;Day to day management of the contract administrators;Ensure purchase order process is managed efficiently from the preparation of purchase requisitions to receipt of invoices;Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems;Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work;Prepare Service level agreements for contractors and monitor their performance against the service level agreements;Skills and CompetenciesHuman Resource management and IR skillsEffective contractor/third party management skillsNegotiating skillsTime Management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSupplier/Sub-Contractor managementHospitality and customer centricityPeople Management skillsLeadership skillsProject Management skillsPresentation skillsGood understanding of SLA’s and Management contractsAdaptability: Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment.'Building Customer Loyalty: Effectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyaltyCommunication: Clearly conveying information and in a manner that helps them understand and retain the message.Contributing to Team Success: Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.Energy: Consistently maintaining high levels of productivity; sustaining long working hours when necessary.Impact: Must be professional, punctual and reliable.Managing Work: Effectively managing one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.Quality Orientation: Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, paying attention to detail.Work Standards: Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasksSafety Awareness: Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.QualificationsMatric – and -Construction and/or Facilities Management Diploma or Degree or equivalentComputer literate on MS Office packages – MS Word, Outlook, ExcelProject management degreeProfessional Project Management Registration (PMP or Prince 2)At least 7 years of experience in Project Management and Construction Management5 - 10 years practical technical and engineering experience in a Facilities Management or similar environmentCandidate must have a strong technical background and have good management and leadership skills
