RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency specializing in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our client's team in Johannesburg. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.Responsibilities

Collaborate with project team to gather necessary information and evaluate project plans and specifications
Analyze project documents and data to determine project requirements
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
Compile and analyze data to produce accurate estimates and project budgets
Communicate and negotiate with clients and contractors regarding cost estimates and project budgets
Track project costs and communicate any changes or updates to the project team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using construction estimating software
Knowledge of construction materials and methods
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
