Shipping Coordinator - Cape TownFull job descriptionShipping CoordinatorLocation: CapetownSalary: R32 000 – R40 000CTCDuties:Establish contact with the supplier on the receipt of the purchase order.Coordinate with the supplier and the forwarders re- shipping dates and modes.of transport.Arrange clearance through appointed forwarders.Liaise with appropriate departments regarding the progress of shipments.Sending out status reports as they are received for updates to the business.Calculate shipping cost estimates for imported/export items.Ensure that estimates are in line with the actual costs.Assist Sales staff with quotes concerning freight estimates.Check costing with the Finance Administrator to ensure quotes and actual costing are within normal limits of deviation.Maintain record-keeping in an orderly manner.Requesting VOC when necessaryCheck import/export documentation against purchase orders.Query any discrepancies with the Managers.Sales Manager concerned.Match shipping documentation.Minimum Requirements:3-5 years similar experienceMatricComputer literacyMs Dynamics or any accounting system.
