Hire Resolve's client, a leading company in the Civil Engineering Consulting industry, is currently seeking a Senior Draughtsman to join their dynamic team.As a Senior Draughtsman, you will play a critical role in the design and development of civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings using specialized software for various infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers and other team members, you will contribute to the successful completion of projects and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Responsibilities

Create and modify technical drawings and plans using specialized drafting software.
Collaborate with engineers and professionals to develop design concepts and solutions.
Provide guidance and support to junior draughtsmen.
Ensure that drawings and designs comply with industry standards and specifications.
Review and revise drawings and plans as necessary.
Collaborate with project teams to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with the latest drafting software and industry trends.
Provide technical assistance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or studying towards NDip Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a draughtsman in the Civil Engineering Consulting industry.
4 years of management experience and 6 years of CAD experience required.
Proficiency in specialized drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS Output.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to do infrastructure design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
